In order to promote the "Diversified Waste Management Plan 2.0" in the new era and the construction of circular parks for the local governments, the Environmental Protection Administration put forward the "Project of accessing the construction of diversified treatment and overall strategy for the municipal solid waste" (This project) which was so as to control the current status and future plans of municipal solid waste treatment and reuse facilities, and drew on foreign experience to propose improvement suggestions and future strategies. In addition, this project also accelerated the establishment of environmental protection facilities and the construction of a municipal solid waste treatment parks. The main achievements of this project were: (1) Complete the survey of the production, distribution and treatment facilities, etc. from the municipal solid waste and propose a demand and supply analysis for the treatment facilities; (2) Review the current status of the promotion and implementation for the circular parks, and improve the park's advanced practices, (3) After compiling the results of the " Diversified Waste Management Plan - Phase 1", taking into account the opinions of local governments and the policy needs of the Environmental Protection Administration, a Major Infrastructure Plan 2.0 (draft) was developed.
